METRONET Morley Ellenbrook Line shortlisted in the 2026 Landscape Australia Awards

The METRONET Morley Ellenbrook Line project has been shortlisted in the Urban Design category of the 2026 Landscape Australia Awards.
The project comprises five station precincts across 21 kilometres – each designed as a genuine civic place shaped by local narratives and cultural context. UDLA, alongside TCL, served as landscape architects for the precincts as part of a broader team led by Woods Bagot. The community-centred design approach activates networks of public space, delivering both social and environmental wellbeing while anchoring Perth's largest transport investment in 20 years.
The inaugural Landscape Australia Awards recognise innovative landscape architecture and design across eight categories. The 2026 shortlist spans projects from urban train networks to wetland parks – demonstrating how landscape design is addressing the environmental, social, and economic pressures facing contemporary Australia.
