Atwell Studio Opening
Photos by Cole Baxter
Recently, amongst friends, family and collaborators, UDLA officially celebrated our move to our new studio in the heart of Fremantle.
We were thrilled to share one of the last balmy evenings of Djeran with so many great folks. Special thanks to Ezra Jacobs-Smith for sharing some words of heart and Country, and to everyone else who joined to make the evening a good one.
We’re looking forward to hosting more events now that we have the space. Send an email to hello@udla.com.au if you'd like to be kept in the loop.

A few UDLA projects:
Once home to Princess Margaret Hospital, the 1909 Precinct is being reimagined as a dynamic inner-city village. Part of the State’s flagship Subi East redevelopment, the project will deliver new homes, green spaces and cultural destinations that honour history while shaping Subiaco’s future.
The Yanchep Lagoon Precinct Preliminary Foreshore Management Plan sets a landscape-led framework for sensitive foreshore development. Prepared for the City of Wanneroo, it prioritises ecological protection, climate adaptation and community aspirations, guiding light-touch amenities that enhance access while safeguarding the Lagoon’s distinctive natural character.
Spanning 21 kilometres and incorporating five new stations, the METRONET Morley–Ellenbrook Line is Perth’s most significant public transport investment in over two decades.
The Little Saints Early Learning landscape at All Saints’ College is a playful, multi-level landscape for children aged 1-4
