UDLA loved being a part of WA’s first multi-disciplinary design festival, held in Walyalup from October 14 – 21, 2022.

One highlight included the Designing Cities Symposium. With presentations from Barb Bynder and Farley Garlett from Karrda, Nicole Kalms from XYZ Lab, and Russell Kingdom from the City of Fremantle and Patrick Kosky from Kerry Hill Studios, and moderation from UDLA’s Shea Hatch, we were glad to hear from the range of perspectives on city making.

Another highlight was the PechaKucha closing event. With 10 superb responses on the Design Week theme of ‘Enough’, hosted and organised by UDLA’s Loren Holmes, it really was a fast-paced feast of ideas, opinions and stories.

We can’t wait for FDW 2024!
